Frequently Asked Questions about Three Forks, Montana

1. Do you have senior housing? At the present time, we do not have senior housing. However, we are making plans for implementing senior housing.

2. Do you have a facility for senior citizens? There is a Three Rivers Senior Center in Three Forks for those 50 or older. Dues are $5 per year. Meals are served at 12 noon on Tuesday and Thursdays. Cost of the meal is $2.75 if you are 60 or older, $4.00 for anyone under 60. Seniors also receive a free meal on their birthday. Meals on Wheels are available to the housebound. Reservations are encouraged. Holidays are celebrated at the Senior Center with sing-a-longs.

Local talent including fiddlers, singers, and performers entertain at the senior center. The members also enjoy the elementary students who visit during the school year. Many seniors remain at the center and play cards after the Tuesday and Thursday meals. Friday afternoons, the Center is open for card playing, visiting, and there is usually a jigsaw puzzle in progress. Other benefits at the Center are periodic blood-pressure check-ups and flu shots.
